So what exactly is a screw pile?
Our helical (or screw) piles are a large diameter steel pipe with a solid steel helical plate which is screwed deep into the ground with a compact excavator.
​
Screw piles offer several advantages to traditional concrete footings and meet or exceed all code requirements. In most cases, screw piles are preferred by building inspectors as they offer superior load carrying capabilities and are installed deep below the frost line.

Simply put, it's a better way to build.
